I first started in the real estate field in April 1990. My first position was at Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour in Marsh Harbour, Abaco. I worked for several years as a salesmen at the resort. At that time there were no requirements to be licensed with BREA (Bahamas Real Estate Agency) hence private property can carry out sales under a developers license. In 1997 I took the real estate exams and became a licensed realtor. While working in the real estate field, I also worked for Scotiabank as loan officer for four years. These four years I consider as my college training because I didn't have the opportunity to go to college. What I learned at Scotiabank was the importance of taking care of your finances and keeping your credit in good standing. I am a Master A license Captain and have never lost focus of my Real Estate business and obligations. I persue further education to obtain my brokers license and was successful in becoming a real estate broker in January of 2015, after being in the real estate field for 25 years. I have worked with several brokers who have helped me on my journey. They are Mr Stafford Symonette, Mr. Brent Cartwright and Mr. Osborn Stuart. I would like to thank each of them for helping in achieving my goals and dreams.
